Coaches Workshop helps Montessori coaches practice, refine, and deepen their skills.
“The ideal embedded professional development for Montessori instructional coaches!”
In bi-weekly sessions throughout the school year, NCMPS MTR Instructor and Coach guides discussion, connection, and reflection with a cohort of coaches working in schools. Each session focuses on a specific tool or practice, offering opportunities for exploration and development. Sessions also include time for problem-solving around real-world situations brought by participants.
Participants will:
- Connect with other Montessori coaches actively working in schools
- Learn about new coaching tools and techniques
- Role-play coaching conversations
- Explore real-life problems and solutions with a community of peers

- 16 one-hour live sessions
- Tuesdays 4-5pm ET

Attendance and certificates: Certificates of attendance are available for participants who attend 80% or more of live sessions. Participants who successfully complete the course are eligible to request Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from Lander University for an additional fee of $25.
Financial aid: Financial support for professional learning courses is sometimes available. Priority is given to NCMPS individual members serving in public schools. Apply for financial aid using this form.

About the Instructor
Katie Mosquera holds an AMS Elementary I-II credential, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, an Educational Leadership certificate, and Maryland teacher’s and administrator’s licenses. She has worked as a public school teacher and administrator, and as a Montessori teacher educator and consultant. Katie lives in New Market, Maryland with her husband. Throughout Katie’s career, she has lived and worked in Bozeman, Montana; Modena, Italy; Perth, Australia; Charlottesville, Virginia; Washington, D.C.; and Frederick, Maryland.
