For Adolescent Practitioners & Program Leaders
In this FREE five-session book study, attendees will read and discuss Ellen Galinsky’s remarkable new book on adolescent development, The Breakthrough Years. Conversations will be held every two weeks, participants having read approximately 100 pages prior to each session. Note: Participants will need to source their own copy of the book.
The book study will meet at 2pm ET for one hour on the following Wednesdays, to discuss the sections of the book outlined below:

| July 10 | p. 100-197 (ending at the end of Message 3) |
| July 24 | p. 198-270 (ending before the section “The Need for Competence”) |
| August 7 | p. 271-339 (ending at the end of Message 4) |
| August 21 | p. 339-479 (all of Message 5 and conclusion) |

About the Instructors
Seth D. Webb has worked in public charter Montessori schools in Arizona, Colorado, and New Zealand as an elementary teacher, instructional leader, dean of students, and principal. Throughout his career, Seth has been active in the Montessori movement as a conference presenter, and lecturer and field consultant for Montessori training centers. He is Montessori credentialed (AMS 6-12, AMI 12-18), is a state-licensed teacher and principal, and holds a MAEd from the Center for Contemporary Montessori Programs at St. Catherine University. Seth is a Montessori parent and passionate Montessori advocate.

Katie Grabowski is a public Montessori graduate, educator, mentor, and parent and with over 15 years experience both in the classroom and supporting teachers in public Montessori programs in Milwaukee Public Schools. She holds an AMS Primary certification, a NAMTA Orientation to Adolescent Studies certificate, and a MAT. Katie and her husband have two children who attend a public Montessori school in Milwaukee.
