This interactive session will explore the Essential Elements for Montessori in the Public Sector and the Essential Elements Rubric (EER), the anchor tool for assessing school-level inputs. The EER is a detailed articulation of program-level practices supporting Montessori fidelity and organizational sustainability, and helps schools assess their practice and develop a plan for continuous school-wide improvement.
The session is part of a series going into greater depth with tools from the Montessori Assessment Playbook, a strategy manual and collection of tools for implementing a new assessment model grounded in Montessori and supporting human flourishing. NCMPS staff and guest practitioners will lead these 90-minute presentations and discussions, offering an orientation to the tools and a deeper explanation of how they can be used in the field. A recording will be available to participants, and for purchase after the event.
